DIY : Snowy Pinecone & Champagne Flute

DIY Snowy Pinecone and Champagne Flute

Quick and Easy Holiday DIY:

As soon as mid-November hits, it seems like there is a party of some sort to attend each weekend! Decorating and table settings can get quite pricey. To keep costs down and wow your guests, I have included the steps below for dipped snowy pinecones and painted champagne flutes!

Project Essentials : DIY Painted Pinecone

Steps :

1. On a paper towel spread out paint using the foam brush so that you can easily role the pine cone.

2. Role the pinecone, ensuring all tips are painted, even the bottom.

3. Repeat steps 1 & 2 for the next pinecone.

4. Carefully spray the adhesive on the pinecone. Next, sitting the pinecone up {like below] sprinkle the glitter onto the pinecone from above – as if it were snowing on the pinecone. For a more dramatic look layer on the glitter. Let dry over night.

5. Using the foam brush and left over paint, paint the stems of the champagne flutes. You will need a few coats, so be sure the first coat is completely dry before starting the next coat {I do not suggest putting these in the dishwasher}.
