As the weather begins to cool down, there is one thing every outfit needs {besides a great pair of shoes} and that is a great coat! About 2 years ago, I purchased a black pea coat from a well known ‘casual chic’ retailer and was very disappointed in the quality {it was a magnet for lint and the buttons fell off}, not to mention the steep price! So last January I began the hunt for a new fall/winter jacket. After taking inventory of my closet, I realized Camel would be the perfect color because it will pair well with most of my clothing. However, I didn’t want to settle. I wanted a Camel jacket with a flattering but unique shape that was affordable.

Flash forward 10 months to present day … I finally found THE jacket of my dreams! Not only is the jacket chic, the fit is amazing and it is on sale for under $50! At first I was skeptical of the quality at such an amazing price, but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived!

It is named ‘Apricot’ but is a true Camel color and has the perfect weight and texture. Some jackets are so heavy it is a no brainer that you will over-heat, even with a light weight dress underneath. Another feature I love about this jacket is the tie waist which creates the perfect silhouette and can expand just in case you pair it with a chunky knit sweater. After a 10 month search for the perfect Camel Jacket for Fall I am so relieved to say I have finally found a chic yet functional design!
