EVERY girl boss is unique in her own way but one thing they have in common : their wardrobe. No, they don’t own the same pieces and shop the same boutiques, but they all stock their closet with pieces that make them feel their absolute best. Think about walking into a board room with middle-aged men staring at you…judging you. THERE are two features that I like to accentuate to feel my absolute best – my eyes and my lips. It is important to feel confident without over doing your makeup, because it is suppose to enhance not modify.

MY go to lip balm is from two Local Sisters – Parallel Face and Body. I don’t leave the house without it. Not only is it nourishing and healing but it adds the perfect pop of color as well. What I love about this product is the color is not over whelming. It can be lightly brushed on for a more natural look or more saturated for the look below. In today’s post I am wearing ‘Dayum! Red’ … another of my favorites is ‘Spicy Berry’ {seen in this post}.

MY go to lengthening and thickening mascara is Younique’s Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes. I love how simple it is to apply {two easy applicators} and how you can control the dramatic effect. I have stopped wearing eye line and rely upon my mascara to open up my small eyes as much as possible. For the office I apply a mild amount of product and then curl my lashes. For date night I apply a heavy amount of product to produce long-thick ‘falsie’ like lashes. Another great characteristic is how easily the product washes off. Some warm water and soap does the trick. What isn’t there to love?
