All Because the Circus Came to Town

How to dress casually chic in the fall

Tweed, Baubles and Mint for Fall

All because the Cirque came to town … Two years ago, when I had just moved to Atlanta, Cirque Du Soleil came to town, with a really HUGE tent. I have always been fascinated with the circus and performances {I started studio dancing when I was 4} so you can image how excited I was to go! Paolo being such a sweet guy, got us tickets. After that performance we were both in awe … Cirque Du Soleil is such an awesome experience!

Fast Forward to September 2014 … I naturally had to sign up for the Cirque Email Club, and during one car ride I was browsing my email and discovered that the Cirque was coming back to town! So I dropped a subtle hint to let Paolo know … and then he said he had already bought tickets, it was going to be a surprise. I thought he might be bluffing, but he wasn’t, he really did … boyfriend of the year award {thank you Paolo if you are reading this!!}.

And so the hunt for the perfect dress began. I browsed and browsed and browsed online … nothing struck my fancy. So I decided to try my local Dress Up Boutique on the way to meet my sweet friend Megan for drinks. As soon as I saw the tweed sleeves and mint dress, I knew this would be the winner, but I still gave a few other pieces a try. A few fitting room selfies later, I decided this dress was the perfect piece for Cirque Du Soleil. I did decide to size up, just because I feel I am reaching an age where tighter mini dresses are not appropriate. To finish off the look I added sheer polka dot tights and riding boots.

That dress is so chic: girly, bright and edgy. Love that you paired a Bubble Necklace with it in a darker blue and added black tights and tall black boots which adds sex appeal. Perfect outfit for the occasion, Monique. Welcome by to see my latest.

Thanks and Happy Thursday! Ada. =)
