Foodie Friday : Where to Eat at the Atlanta Airport

Where to Eat at the Atlanta AirportWho hasn’t been stuck in an airport on a layover and no idea where to go eat because you don’t want to eat at TGIFs or McDonald’s? I have had plenty of friends tell me they are flying through Atlanta to get to their final destination, so for today’s Foodie Friday post, I wanted share, in my personal opinion, a hidden gem of Atlanta and answer to your question, where to eat at the Atlanta Airport … Café Intermezzo. They also have two other locations, Dunwoody and Midtown, for any locals.

Café Intermezzo

Where to eat at the Atlanta Airport … why Café Intermezzo of course {it is located in concourse B}. The cafe is designed and run just like a European Coffee house from the decor to the menu. The idea was born after a trip to Germany, as the owner visited his heritage. He wanted a place where friends could gather, relax, forget about their day and enjoy great drinks and food. The Cafe has 800 different drink combinations {surely there is something in there you will like} and dishes to please your appetite whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner. Last time I was in Cafe Intermezzo, my girlfriends and I chatted the afternoon away {not realizing that 3 hours slipped away!}. The atmosphere is serene and relaxing, the menu is unique and delicious which makes it the perfect stop during your layover!

Enjoy!
