How to Make a Sweatshirt Errand-Chic

How to Make a Sweatshirt Errand-Chic

Recently, I have been extremely busy at work and in my personal life which unfortunately is taking a toll on the number of blogging posts {lo siento!} but, it also means I have less time to get ready and outfit plan.  Lately, I have been home for about 48 hours at a time, in which I try to do as much as possible, so running errands tend to be early in the morning // late at night which means comfortable wear is a necessity! I love to look put together so I developed a strategy to make a sweatshirt errand-chic so that I can be out the door in minutes.

  1. Find the perfectly-chic sweatshirt {also seen here}
  2. Find a pair of jeans the you feel your absolute best in
  3. Add a pair of comfortable yet chic shoes
  4. Tuck the front of the sweater in just a bit

Now, let’s talk about Mother Denim. I have never splurged on denim before, but I have also had a really hard time finding the perfect fit. I was strolling through Anthropologie one day and I saw these adorable button-up jeans and took them into the fitting room. I swear, I knew they were coming home with me the moment I put my feet in. They are so soft and moveable. Once I buttoned them up, it was a done deal. Later that day, I slipped into them for an afternoon date with Paolo, and he immediately complimented me on how they looked … so I guess you could say, these are Boyfriend approved jeans! I know the price tag is steep, which can be hard to justify {especially on a budget, like I am} but I can’t stop styling them … I just love how I feel in them. I don’t think I have worn another pair of jeans since I bought them … so for me, I know I have made a great investment and they will be in my closet for years!

What are you styling secrets to look errand-chic?

    I have this same sweatshirt, and have been having difficulties styling it. I’m not sure if it’s just because it’s too short for me or what, but I like what you’ve got going on here 🙂
