Business Casual Flannel

Lately, I have began to experiment with with my wardrobe to create new outfits … like this one. I am normally not one to wear ‘business casual flannel’ to the office, but with the right baubles, skirt, and pumps … it was the perfect mix of chic and casual, even for a business casual environment!

The modern day term ‘business casual’ has a lot of loop holes for us ladies. As long as you are appropriately covered and the look is polished, we can mix a match some of our favorite casual pieces at the office to feel confident and comfortable! The key to styling a business casual flannel is to glam it up {great shoes // bold jewels} and to cover it up {just a bit}. If a cardigan exposes too much of the flannel, toss on a layering sweater over the flannel, but be sure to cuff your sleeves so that they add contrast to the look {along with the collar}. Lastly, be sure your skirt is modest. That means no mini skirts or extremely tight skirts. You don’t want to draw too much attention to your clothes, but rather, let your inner #girlboss shine!
